Georgetown Technical High School launches website on Open Day, May 13, 2015. The purpose of the day is to promote the programs offered at the school: Wood work, Culinary Arts, Hospitality, Sewing, Automotive, Plumbing, Construction, Electrical and Agriculture. The second of such is to showcase the students’ and teachers’ work and accomplishment over the past year. Lastly, it is to build a strong relationship with the community.

Over ten primary schools and five secondary schools are attending the event. Several business and social partners as well. The school continues to adhere to the notion that education is everybody’s business and can only be realizable when we pool our resources together, hence the theme: “Progressing Together – Embracing the New Technical/ Vocational Revolution.
