The scholarship covers registration fees (or textbooks) for the students who qualify. The scholarship is reviewed on a semester basis and the students must maintain an appropriate GPA for the scholarship applied as indicated in the application form. This scholarship program is funded by Georgetown Technical High School. The students who qualify will be asked to complete some form of community service to the school which will be determined by the members of the scholarship committee.

Scholarships available at the beginning of the new school are:

1. Staff  scholarship
2. Academic scholarship
3. Working scholarship
4. Sport scholarship

The following documents must be submitted:

• A completed copy of scholarship application form.
• A 200 word essay in English, describing your family background, your personal goals and why you believe you should be considered for this scholarship.
  • Two (2) sealed letters of recommendation from instructors who can make valid comments on your scholastic aptitude or vouch for your intellectual ability.
  • Copy of your last report card.
  • A photocopy of your social security card

Please Note:

• Students who are on the government subsidy program and students who already have some other form of scholarship do not qualify for any of the scholarship program.
• Students who are repeating do not qualify for the scholarship.
• Students are expected to maintain good disciplinary conduct for the duration of the scholarship term.

Deadline for submission: August 30, 2014 (late application will not be considered)
