Georgetown Technical High School is a full-fledged technical high school. It adheres to the notion that education is an avenue for upward mobility and undoubtedly a vehicle to bridge the socio-economic divide. Georgetown Technical High School continues to formulate programs and practices to adequately meet the needs of its clients by providing the best educational environment for its constituents. This has enabled the school to meet the needs of the society and the nation of Belize.

Our mission and vision as an institution are very much within the context of an ever-changing society. The institution has a robust curriculum that looks at the whole wellbeing of the student—physical, social, spiritual, academic and technical. We stand committed to our core values of respect, responsibility, excellence and community We provide a rigorous learning environment for our students. Our programs incorporate college and career readiness so students can become productive contributing citizens.

Our motto, “The Love for Learning Remains with Us,” strikes at the very core of garnishing every support from teachers, students, parents and stakeholders to make this institution relevant in the twenty first century.
